The challenge this week is to make a card using animal images only - NO PEOPLE OR CHARACTERS AT ALL!!

Not much from me on the crafting front since the weekend, I've had one of those weeks where I just went into meltdown.

Anyway, I thought that I would try and get at least one quick card made this week so here it is. I had a bit of a play with the Paper Gator and figured out the scallop edging which matches quite nicely with the scalloped Nestabilities circles. I really love the Paper Gator, I haven't found a single thing that it can't cut yet!

Mojo Monday Week #32 - Mojo Madness

This is my take on the sketch over at Mojo 32. I seem to be making quite a few male cards this week & along came another.

My Paper World Sketch 7

I love following sketches and yesterday I came across My Paper World. The sketches are so inspirational and the cards on there are simply gorgeous!

Anyway, this is my interpretation of the current sketch. Today I chose to work with oranges and chocolate as it gave me an excuse to use my Flora Doodles again. Also there are more men in my family than women so another male card never does any harm!

It would seem that the jar in my previous post wasn't the only thing that my husband (notice that I've dropped the wonderful) gave me as I now have his cold too!

This is my entry for the PTW challenge which was to make a card from the sketch provided.

I must admit that I really like working from sketches especially when I'm not feeling too good.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge #1

Something new for me, my first EVER blog challenge! I'm very nervous but willing so please be gentle lol!

The challenge this week is to create a card with the theme as New Beginnings/First, the only other criteria is that the card has to be cute.

Easy Make

I managed to pick up this great Whipper Snapper stamp cheaply a few weeks ago. Trouble was I had no idea what to use it for until a friend needed a little TLC.

I stamped the image using Black StazOn ink (a fabulous ink that I couldn't live without), layered onto a metallic corrugated card and stuck on a Papermania Everyday Designer card (which I find great for those quick makes).

I think that I am happy with the watercolouring, just a shame that my wrist causes my hand to shake!
